  1. Hey sweetie! Been watching your vids for a while now. Very inspiring. Commenting on community/private college. I am in school now for ST. For me, private school was the only option. Only two community colleges in the state run these classes (by the way I chose to go for degree rather than cert). Both schools only accept 16 students a year out of more than 500 applicants. I decided to go for an accelerated degree program at a private college. One reason why I chose that is because in Colorado, almost every hospital offers full tuition reimbursement for surgical techs as well as several thousand dollars for a sign on bonus. Also, my college has a very high rate of job placement (100%, as long as the exam is passed).
I think it would be good for your viewers to consider looking at pay and perks in their local area to see what works best. ST in colorado get paper!! There's a shortage. Most people, straight out of school get minimum 27.00 per hour and get their tuition taken care of. No, it's not a ton of money, but is really good for a two year degree, especially if the education to get there turns out to be free. That is really good motivation to pursue this career… Well it was for me. Keep doing what you are doing!! Keep those vids coming 💋
