  1. I also just reached the 9 month mark! Interesting what you said at the end – I went down the non-surgical route but was put in a plaster cast for a full 10 weeks, no boot or anything. It was awful and very mentally tough at the time but I do feel I have recovered well, yesterday for example, I ran 4 miles and have no pain in my achilles at all anymore. My main struggle is occasional stiffness and I actually find jumping hard – would not say I am 100% recovered yet! I have enjoyed watching your vids as I think we ruptured at similar times. I also think my recovery has been speedy due to the fact I am only 19!
