A 66 y/o male patient underwent a complicated cataract surgery elsewhere. An IOL was implanted in the sulcus but residual cortex and nucleus was left. He was referred for surgical management. The IOL in the sulcus makes the following surgery difficult..

  1. Good management. Is it indicated to do ILM peel in similar cases as CME may develop after complicated cataract surgey with lens matter in the posterior segment.
    Second note: was it possible to insert iris hooks whliel pc iol in sulcus. I did a similar case without moving iol to AC.
    Your use of triamcinolone was great idea too
